He is best known as a choral composer, but his output includes an opera, instrumental works and musicals. His musical ‘Walter and the Pigeons’ is published by Josef Weinberger. His choral works are sung and much loved throughout the world and he has been commissioned to write works for many notable occasions, including: HM The Queen’s 80th birthday service in St. Paul’s Cathedral, the dedication of the Winston Churchill Memorial gates at St. Paul’s, the Corporation of the Sons of the Clergy, the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta and the Southern Cathedrals’ Festival. He is widely published and his publishers include Oxford University Press, RSCM and Kevin Mayhew Ltd. His choral works have been performed and recorded by many cathedral and church choirs.
